Usually they are not aggressive but this Clown I have seen chase at the Blenny and my former Wrasse. He might not have stressed the fish to death but Im not sure its worth it to take a risk. He acts like he owns the whole tank. I alwasy turn off the ligths for the entire day when I add a new fish and feed the other fish before. I once had a Yellow Watchman Goby that I added and then never saw the fish again.

I have a BlkCap Basslet and s/he doesnt bother anyone. At first, when s/he was new, it would open its mouth REAL big to intimadate(sp) the other fish. He gets along with my Midas Blenny. Luna

I have a clown that is meaner then crap. I usualy have to go in the tank with a pistol and a combat knife:uzi:. But I would give the clown another chance sounds like you can't prove if he really picked the angel to death or not. But good luck any way you do it.

I doubt it was your clown adam. A healthy flame angel is no slouch when it comes to territory. I think it had to do with poor selection and possibly bad acclimation. If I remember correctly you started a thread asking if the angel was compatible while you had the bag in your tank. I also remember of another thread that you mentioned adding a new fish shortly after the angel, while you were writing other threads saying you can't get it to eat. If I were you, I'd stop adding anything for a good couple/few weeks and properly plan your next addition. In the meantime study up on compatibility, hardiness, behavioral issues, acclimation success and so on regarding a potential new purchase. I think I sense "impulse buying" companied with "Uh, Oh!" once you get home. Both can be a real thorn when it comes to the hobby. Trust me, I've been there;).

Again, I am with mission. Dwarf angels are known to succumb to what I refer to the new tank syndrome. They just don't take well sometimes. And DAs are put into the mix last for a reason, they are one of the more terratorial fish out there. They have nooooooo problem defending their space. My CB is all over the tank. She shares well, but nothing and I mean nothing deters her from her quest for total domination.
