    hello i just got my hands on around 50 lbs of rock that was in a tank.. there was life on it its all dried out now. what should i do to it before i put it in my tank should i cure it with fresh or saltwater?

    put it salt water and let the curing begin. But first try to scrub off all the dead items with a salt water bath. Don't add any fish or anything during the curing process either. There will be a ton of spikes in your paramaters.

    In green algae I had this question about someone bleaching there rock but got no response. I thought this would be crazy but maybe i am wrong.

    I guess. Don't think I would ever bleach anything near or around my tank or going into my tank. :eek: But if they say it works.

    i wouldnt put any rock or sand in my tank unles it was nuked
