Dead polyps?

    They are in the middle of the tank and I would say medium flow.. and those are the lights I have, I haven't tested parameters today, but last time I did everything was zero. and the salinity was 1.024 im working on raising it to .026

    They grow like a weed, so I would place it in a spot where you want it with good flow. I have mine on the left side of my tank & it's growing on my back glass. A live background. Also, from time to time they will close up for 2 or 3 days & then have a growth spurt.

    hahaha okay ! I won't do anything with them just yet. I just thought since its a new set up maybe they died off because the water isn't established enough.

    Wow thats crazy that is A LOT of star polyps do they ever stop growin!

    yeah def dont do anything....that GSP...nearly impossible to kill...just sit tight and they will open up..

    ^^this is why I would scrape them off the rock and kill them while you can!! lol ;D

    They look cool, but grow like weeds... seriously, if you want to keep it, it will be fine. you may be trimming them back before you know it...

    I don't know what color they are haha I have never seen them open up. the other ones are like BRIGHT neon green/yellow. I like them haha

    The underlying mat is usually purple/ brown. The polyps themselves can be green or very bright green.
