Detaching anemones from rock

    I need advice on easy way to remove a RBTA from live rock... ive got 4 total & would like to sell 2 of them... a guy that bought my LED'S was intersted but I couldn't get any of them off the rocks...ughhh! So ideas that doesn't extremely stress or possible damge to them would be great :D thank you!

    Nevermind I got him with flow from power head & my spare I.D.... no damage & has reattached to a lil rock in a breeder's box...:D

    nice, for future reference. ideally take the rock its attached to with it. if not possible flow, as youve seen, works.though i have never tried this myself i read gently rubbing an ice cube on the foot works as well, again never tried it.

    Ive never tried either.. ive also never made saltwater ice cubes.. lol :) id b to scared to try regular ice cubes due to much junk in city water would throw parameters way off... im working on detaching second 1 now so its ready to go when they want to buy it.. thank u for your reply..

    well you could always make a distilled cube if your tap water is really that bad. a single ice cube in a large enough system should not be the end of the world i believe.
