Lol well added a plexi glass top to my sump since the micro splashes keep gettign everything wet. A few zip ties and couple trail and errors and its done. Heres a pic of the lid and another FTS, uggg I cant wait to get my new lights and additional powerhead to get great flow in my tank. No BS but jeez she evaporates like 1/2 gallon a day im considering doing a top off when I get a spare bucket going.

    Looking good

what you got in there to cycle the tank? just rock or are you using the frozen / decaying sea food method

its a bit confusing as all the posts are today, but I assume the tank with less rocks in was taken some time ago?
if its all from today, the readings would be very strange

Great looking build dev.........Look forward to seeing more progress pics. I really dig the black sand with the right contrasting corals. I tried it once and ditched it before the tank was stocked.

Lol ya steve pics were taken over the last week. Its 50 lbs of key largo base and 15lbs of key largo LR to cycle it.

Mission thanks for the compliments on the sand, at first I was a little skeptical but since its been setup it looks awesome almost like a white black sand.

Cant wait to get my new t5 lights and then after I start adding slowly and gettign the tank established im goign to start adding some LPS and SPS and considerign how they do then maybe just maybe my knowledge will get better and go for a clam. Lol I wanna add fish so bad but im not a cruel arse hole and wont kill fish because im stupid and just want them for beign impatient. :) I love some 3reef and thanks for all the compliments
