wow, i read their claims and they talk about some incredible achievements. i for one do NOT think they would be worth it. "Uses Actual Human Artificial Kidneys For Aquarium Dialysis" what??? what does this even mean? i also think that if each of their units runs upwards of a $1000 (the most exp being 3000 plus change) without shipping, their website looks a bit....ummm.....crap? they dont look very professional and their units look like regular ro/di units with some extra filters. my opinion? not worth it.

upon further review....theyve added on some extra filters AND some electronics.....still not worth it.

You're down their way. Could you please swing by the shop and check them out?

It certainly sounds interesting. I heard about it from my LFS owner in Richmond who does tank maintenance for another one of his customers in Chicago:eek:. The guy has a Dialyseas unit and Joe cotrols things via the internet for him. As I was doing a little reading on the thing I came across a guy in Baltimore who was tearing down his system and listed a gently used one for sale. Unfortunately, he sold it a few months ago so that eliminates my prospects of getting one for half-off. I did find a nice review of these by someone who uses one. The review is a few years old but well written.
