I research what I buy, to see if they are compatable, but my husband on the other hand, buys and brings them home as gifts for me. And of course you all know the stores will not take them back. So, we have discussed this many times and now he calls me first before he buys. We have not introduced anything since the tang. Why do the anenomes go and hide behind the rocks then? And yes, I am just starting into this adventure and I know I have a lot to learn, thats why I am greatful that I stumbled across this website. So what would you suggest other than a MH light which I can not afford right now.

I would save up for a MH light. IF you good a DIY projects, you could easily build your own for under 200 dollars :p Im 15, and made a 2X 250 watt halide fixture for under a 100 bucks :D

I hope I didnt sound rude to you, b/c thats not my style. You have two choices, 1. Most lFS will take livestock back but at half price. 2. Get better lighting, doesnt have to be MH, you can get away with T5's. Try this website for MH, this is where I bought mine. Luna

as Luna said, we are not trying to sound rude at all. A GOOD t-5 fixture would do you fine. if not, those anemones aren't going to last long at all
