Theres no "Diatom B Gone" in a can? lol So many things to learn, I was so excited to start the tank I cut corners to get going I guess. Paying for it now. We love our tank and are eager for our new lights to come in. My wife misses all the corals we had.

No diatom be gone, You can run some GFO in a reactor and just keep up on your water changes. But your tank will be okay in a while might be a little longer then normal. Thats awesome you are getting a new light in im getting a new light in as well and a new tank I can wait. lol

If I go out and buy a new RO/DI filter setup my wife will start tossing my clothes out on the lawn. Can I buy this stuff by the gallon and use that? Any good sources for that like Walmart?

I used walmarts distilled water by the gallon (purple cap i think) for a while. I think it tested out at under 10 ppm tds.
