Ok, so I bought the Aquahub ATO DIY kit and have it all put together. Here's my problem, only the lower float switch seems to be the one controlling the pump. When the water level drops below the lower float, the pump comes on like it should but as the level rises, the pump turns off when the lower switch is up. The water level never gets a chance to reach the second float switch. Now I don't know if I wired something wrong or what, I'll attach some pics and a copy of the instructions. If anyone can help me out with this, then karma to you.

The second float switch is a failsafe in case the first one fails.

That's it, it's that simple? So I didn't do anything wrong then? I thought when the water level the lower switch, it turned the pump on and then when the level rose to the second upper switch, the pump went off. But maybe I thought wrong then.

Looks correct to me, might want to try a test on it to make sure its working tho. Just simulate the bottom float sticking in the on position and press on the top float (as water would If it got that high). If the pump turns off it works and you wont have to worry about a flood from the primary float failing.

Yep, that's exactly what it was. Thanks for the help. I kinda feel a little stupid now.

Yep, you have it done correctly it appears. As long as that second switch shuts off the pump if it gets triggered, then you have it correct.
