Okay, I want to convert my aquaclear into a fuge but I have no idea what is required?

All I know is that you can put macroalgae in the fuge to lower nitrates and phosphates but besides that I am at a loss. I know others have converted the aquaclears into fuges.

If I convert my hang on filter into a fuge...where do I run my carbon?

I'm not familiar with the aquaclears, but if you can post a pic or link I can tell you what I did :)

here's a link to the thread I created on NR.com for the light I DIY'd for the AC Fuge

DIY? Fuge Light - Nano-Reef.com Forums

It came out pretty well I think - Only posting it here vs. the DIY forum b/c of it's relevance to the AC fuge mod.
