i have a 75 gallon, and i bought 24 royal blue cree LEDs, 24 white cree LED's, and 2 blue/actinic LED for night. is this too much?

also if it is, how do i know how much to dim the LEDs so that it is the right amount?

a tad overkill but fine! it depends on your previous lighting and corals! I have the same and after a week or so i'm at 65% blues 35% whites for a peak of 3 hours but lights on for 8!

Well since you haven't built this thing yet you might want to replace some of those white LEDs with RED/CYAN/GREEN/UV to add a larger spectrum to your LED light.

I currently have: Royal Blue, Blue, Cool White, Neutral White. I plan to add : Cyan, UV, Red, Green.
