    i would say you could do the boost leds and do 3 bulbs in the 3b,2w area in 60degee optics and be doing well IME and since they use regular light sockets they are good for eayse of instulation. also im putting 8 over a 7 5 gallon and can keep whatever i want.

    sorry but can you repeat that in english i can understand and give me links to the bulb you mean that use regular light socket.

    LOL that was english, just not very good english. I was saying that you could use 3 bulbs in the color pattern of 3 blue, and 2 white. they use standared (E26) sockets and the ease of instulation is really easy but youll see when you go on the sight.

    im going to look into those and make a custom fixture but they are kinda expensive. but they would be better than t5 i guess
