Here's the sites I found and will use for my 113 gallon 4 foot tank.
I'll use 2x6s for the top frame. Plus the construction is simple and no need to notch a 4x4 plus there's room under it for a sump.

thanks again guys so it looks like i wont really need a center brace although i will probably put a small one in anyway.

 

I chose the stand I did so I won't have to add a center brace. Just think, 2x4s and 2x6s hold up your house and roof so I trust that they'll hold up my tank. BUt adding 1/2" plywood to the outside is a good way to stiffen the whole frame and add stability as well as hide your sump.

 

ya i will definatly add plywood to the outsides.
