here's what going on, my bathroom REAKS it serously smells like something is dying in there, were thinking its the pipes.

When i do my water changes i pour my water in the tub and it goes down the drain, i dont know what the pipes are made out of but could it ruin the pipes at all?

the smell makes the entire upstairs reak and its been going on for about a week

Just make sure you're on a sewer system instead of septic tanks.

I have to be careful of what I put down my drain here or it'll kill the bacteria and leach into the ocean.

Make sure you do a bleach dilution, as to limit your vapor exposure.

    For 1:10 dilution:
Mix 1 cup bleach in 9 cups water

Pour slowly to allow maximum surface contact down the hatch!

The joy of Los Osos. I am glad I moved away from that whole sewer nightmare. The town is nice but the small town politics drove me crazy. I used to work for the CSD and always heard about sewer issues.
