    Yes my wife calls them names all the time.....as in your %&$^ fish LOL
    You should hear her on corals LOL

    Kidding......she named the Yellow Tang "Sunshine" ...gee that was hard!

    We let kids that come to our store name the fish

    Yellow tang - Yellow Brightley
    Purple lobster - meany
    Lion Fish - Mufasa
    Two Chocolate chip stars - Chocolate and Chip

    My aunt has a coral beauty angel that was her first fish after her cycle ended... 16 years ago.... "the old man in the sea"


    At my house I named one.
    Tube Anemone - Seabiscuit the Cave Monster (he's in the back of a cave)

    I too named my b/w clownfish pair Bonnie & Clyde
    Also my YWG is Warren the watchman

    the gf names all of my fishes

    my blue spotted jawfish name is blue
    mandarin is non-e since he's nonexistent lol
    and snowflakes are spots and flake

    My wife only pays attention to my tank after my frantic yelling "come up here you've got to see this".

    My four year old has named several of my tank inhabitants.

    "nuffin" the tuxedo urchin.
    "buster" the emerald crab (technically we are on buster v2.0)
    "baby coral" - the peppermint shrimp which he is convinced is the baby of my old coral banded shrimp.

    And of course, the clownfish named Nemo.

    I call my pistol shrimp "cat" (like earth mover, not stupid animal cat).
