I bought a new puppy yesterday!! I am going to pick her up tomorrow! (Today she is getting fixed) I was in a meeting with the Humane Society about a cross promotional to help them out. And I mentioned that I wanted a small dog and had been looking for a long haired Dachsund.. and wouldn't you know they had that exact puppy. No way I could back down after that, lol.. So tomorrow I'm getting a new 2 month old little girl. I'm naming her Maggie pics coming tomorrow evening!!!

This is our Pit, Gracie. My wife rescued her about 10 years ago. She is a sweet heart, and we are actually big advocates for this breed, as well as husbandry skills for handling the challenges associated with them. We both feel they get a bad rep, and are mistreated to an astonishing degree.[IMG]

I love the bullies too! I'd love to get one some day...

I agree one million percent, pits are actually very lovey dovey, when raised right, but that's any dog. They act how you train them wether it be a pit bull or a lil yorkie, obviously people are just scared more of pits because they are pure muscle.

Yeah, I agree with you, a lot of it is how each dog is socialized and trained. Can make a huge difference!

One thing about Gracie is that she is very strong, as you would expect, but she is also clumsy and kind of clutzy. Like a bull in a china shop! We have had drinks on our coffee table go flying across the room with a little tail wag, and then she looks at us like, "what did you do that for?!"
