I can already see driving down some coastal highway. Really big bugs splattering against your windshield :)

It sorta looks like a Romulan Warbird.

as a pilot i gotta say some of the pics made me laugh. I don't know how viable these guys are going to be. Water landing is a tricky thing and with the service ceiling and climb rate you are going to have to have a rec or private pilot certificate to operate. That being said I want one! I would totally feel like a Romulan Commander and would drop green water balloons on beaches and stuff. This is the same reason I dont have a '65 Shelby kit car. It would get me in jail or dead.

My question is that it looks like it flies in the photos. That means the faa will get involved and you are prolly gonna have to get a certificate to fly it...

OOpps didnt see the post above, it was said already by another person.

This has bad news written all of it as well. Take a turn to sharp in the water and you dip a wing into the ocean (pain, lots of pain). I also see another person getting something chopped off by the propeller as well.

come on xmetal! you want to go out toothless in your bed with 15 smelly great grand kids looking on, or do you WANT TO LIVE THE LIFE OF A TAL SHIAR! Covert Romulan intelligence agent skimming over the terran waters raining down fire and brimstone on the unsuspecting Federation scum!

    Hhaha. Funny stuff.
So do you need a pilot license with something this small? This is considered an ultralight right?

Hey now, I live around hillbillies and rednecks, but I'm not one of em. ;D

I think I would have a blast in one of these. However, like Colonel Benjamin Kirk, I too would also die in a blaze of glory if i hopped in to one of these. I test I the limits to often. My parents told me that if I ever went solo climbing again they would cut me off when I was younger. What they don't know can't hurt them, right?

I'd use it to take out Khan Noonien Singh.
