    Any input on what flow I should look for a return pump?

    Internal or external pump? Also how far of a run of pipe from the pump to the top if the tank? If you are splitting the feed at the top count each section. Example: 3' on the left and 3' on the right would be 6' total. Don't forget each 45 or 90 degree fittings you loose 1' to a 2' of head depending of pipe size. Head is what pumps are measured in how far up they can push water. Always go more that what you need.

    I ended up buying a via aqua pump. Cheap but high output. Rated at 1350 gph. It will be 4 ft of head pressure to the top rim of the tank. That takes it down to just under 1000 gph. Then I am going to split it and have two returns. Not sure if this will affect my flow rate or not....? Also what should I get for returns? Ball joint tubing? Something else?
