Good deal? It's great, especially if you want to run an Oceans Motion 8 way external loop, where you'd need 8 returns + drains.

i would use them as closed flow loops, connect them to a external pump. make some hook in to the intake then others to the output. mix it up so the intake or output all arent on one side.
also put a grate over them for fishes protection.
protection prevents curious fishes from making some bad life decisions.

im sorry i really dont have any clue how i would even attach any thing to them. i know i would put a bulk head fitting on them and then do i run 7 hoses to a sump and 8 as a return back into the tank or do i use the overflow as the part that goes to the sump and have 15 different output hoses

OK, I will try to explain it better:
All of the holes that are visible in the pic are not for filtration or going to a sump and/or fuge. They are for what we would call a "closed loop system".
What that basically is, all of those holes will attach to a single pump. The inlet from the pump will also come from at least one of those holes. It simply flows water through the "closed loop". ;) It basically replaces powerheads, if that makes more sense. You do not want to run any of those holes down to the sump, because if the return pump were to ever fail, the water would continue to drain till it reached the lowest hole (BIG BIG flood).
The tower in the center of the tank is for the overflow, which is what gets plumbed to the sump. There should be more holes in behind there as well.

Sorry, this is what an 8-way looks like:
    Oceans Motions
or you could do a couple seperate closed loops with 4-ways. Up to you entirely.
