Dry Rock Order/Aquascape

I just ordered 100 lbs of dry rock from our 3REEF sponsor "ReefCleaners". I will be doing 3 island/bonzi tree towers in the new tank. I will be drilling the rock and using rods to achieve the look im going for. Now...I will be ordering from TAPPLASTICS.com that have a ton of choices. Should I go with Acrylic rods or go with fiberglass rods. Would there be a big difference?

 

I used Nylon threaded rod and thumb screws to do my stacking scape. I know MarcoRocks.com has them, but I used Amazon.com. 3/8" rod should be fine for any application 18" tall or less.

 

I saw the ones at Marco, there was a crazy price difference between their stuff and the stuff at Tapplastics. Plus Im already ordering the black limo tint for the back glass, some acrylic sheets as well.
