Dumb lighting ?

    Hi, ive been getting my new tank going and have a dumb question. I have a 250 MH hanging from the ceiling above my tank, the fixture itself is like 24x8 or something. Ive always woundered how people get actinics and lets say in my case a MH all on one tank if its 2 diff fixtures. Is this not possible? I have the 130 Pc light on my old 20, and would like the run the actinics from it as well as my MH on my new 45 but the pc fixture would block the light from the MH.

    T5 retrofit kits. Get a 2 bulb t5 kit the length of your tank with some ATI blue+ bulbs or one blue+ and one uvl super actinic.

    The Retro fit kit for the T5's works better along with the Metal Halides inside a Canopy IMO. I built mine so I don't have to hang something from the ceiling, an eye sore IMO. Good Luck.
