So i picked up an australian duncan at the lfs yesterday. just a single head frag for $15. looked great all day yesterday in the tank at the bottom. This morning when I took a look it was toppled over and shut in. I stood it up and I can see some green inside but hasnt come out at all. should I be concerned? the coc worm I got also is fine as well as everything else in the tank.. Thanks all

    Hello!

In my experience with Duncans, I would say he is ok, since your water quality is good. Our Duncans seem to do best in the mid to high level of the tank (we have 75 gal with T5s too). We got our single head Duncan approx 2 yrs ago and it has grown to over 40 heads plus we have 2 frags off of it. Good Luck!

Keep up your water parms, keep him in medium flow, medium light and he'll be OK. From my experience with duncans, they are hardy...I bought 2 heads about 10 months ago and I almost didn't buy them when I saw what the guy at the LFS had to do to cut it, it was like cutting through steel, the whole thing fell on the floor and picked up a ton of dust, it look like it was dead when I put it in my tank, I now have about 25-30 heads...before you know it you'll see new heads popping out.

alrighty then. It's a waiting game now. I've heard it grew like the candy cane corals which split constantly...

@ map95003 Hey Martin. How are things going? Are you still fragging?
