I had some nice lavender color Coralline Algae growing on the back of my tank and suddenly it has appeared to stop growing and is starting to turn white. Is this normal or is the Coralline dying?

My SG is 1.025, nitrates 0, nitrites 0, PH 8.1-8.3, Calcium is around 500, temp is 75. All of my corals appear to be fine, my SPS is showing considerable growth, zoo's and mushrooms open fully everyday, as does paly. Xenia is pulsing away.

    What should I do?

    Alk? MG? Nitrates? PO4?
Bleaching in coralline usually indicates a sudden change.

ALK is 1.9, Nitrates, as mentioned above, are 0. I do not test MG or PO4...what are they?

All of my parameters have been stable and unchanging. The only thing that slightly changes is the SG when the water evaporates and then I have to top it off.

Will this consequently effect my corals, such as SPS and softies?
