Those are not enough light for a tank, even 12 gallons. Those are probably 1 watt led lights which are not enough for corals in my opinion

It's the difference between their LEDs and yours. Without a doubt! I won't even buy zoas online anymore because I know most pics are taken under LEDs or MH and won't look nothing like *that* under my t5Ho's :)

update on the zoas, 19w may not be enough as pc but leds are higher output as far as I know it has been almost 2 months since I got my first colony and they are thriving under 19w of led and growing healthy so far.

The two pics you posted IMO look very similar. You will not be able to get the same coloration as the one found (I presume) on the Internet. They probably alter their light to get good coloration. Every coral I purchase I know will not look the same in my tank. I will get you an example of my acans here shortly.

Yes you are correct no argument on that, but if you notice in the picture above of my tank and the very first one I posted there is a big difference , and that is due to the blue been added to it.
Your acans are sweet by the way . What lighting do yo have?

They are under T5 bulbs. I can't recall the bulb combination.

I know what you are feeling, if you do a little research on this lights on this forum, and other forums,or ecoxotic web page , and you'll find out how many users including me , are having success keeping corals under this type of light and the same typer of corals. 19w is not enough for other species, I agree, sps, clams, etc which I don't have. I know you probably have top of the line LED and a 150g tank ,but everybody gets what can afford and keep I only have a 12g nano and actually is 10g in front and 2 in the chambers for filtration, return pump and heater.
