    I had a bothersome aiptasia that I needed to remove so I took a superglue gel tube (the nozzle fit right into its hole) squirted a little in, held it there for 15 second and pulled it out, the anemone was stuck in the hardened superglue.

    Super glue gives off cyanoacrylate fumes, which are poisonous and reacts with living tissues and produces formaldehyde. In water it also produces vinegar.

    You are better off using full strength kalk for Aiptasia to be safe
