As reactivity decreases, so does the rate of diffusion of toxins and nutrients through water, as well as participation of molecules. (1) In aquarium systems this means the inability of filtering systems to remove toxins and the increased difficulty of marine life to selectively diffuse nutrients through cellular membranes. This is because as toxins are added to your tank, water molecules become tightly bonded to each other; over time these trapped toxins deteriorate water quality and nutrients as well become less available.

    I am interested in it.
There may be a draw back but which is worse the yellowish looking tank and adding more calcium or clear water and less calcium? I know CMKII loves it as he has a review on it, it did take some time to read all the replies but no one has any proof it is bad for the tank. they did say that a test with mussels lost tissue but I am still researching this.
Unless I hear some big negatives I will be getting one in the future.
