    What does everyone think about this technology. Does it work? Any thought and does someone own one? Does it work better than traditional skimmers?

    Oh no -not this again. Those that say it works at a minimum use it in conjunction w/ a skimmer. It is, in a very literal sense, a PVC pipe w/ magnets taped to it. If that works for you, more power to ya. Make your own and don't waste your money.

    I've made something similar, only much more BA. I used an iron pipe (lined w/ a smaller plastic pipe) and mummied it in wire to make an electro magnet. I used it when a heater exploded to collect ferrous material from the water.

    This is the biggest piece of junk. SOme guys on RC tore it apart and it was basically magnets if i recall correctly, basically this does nothing.
