Hey guys, once again this forum is my outlet for questions that are not fish related. Sorry but you guys are just so helpful...

I just purchased 2 1974 vintage pionere amps [IMG]

I am going to use one downstairs for 2 ceiling speakers (a set) and 2 outdoor speakers (b set). So I can switch from indoor and outdoor. Second one I want to use upstairs in a little home gym I am putting together.

    Well my question is this:
With out me buying an ipod for 200 dollars and another 50 for ir remote control. What are my options for an mp3 player with remote or some kind of audio player that has remote and can ether play memory stick, sd card or can have a hard drive attached? I have a dvd player that can play sd cards but you cannot control that volume on it and obviously the amps from 1974 do not have remotes...

    Thanks guys.

Thanks for the flash back! I think we (those 45-60 years old) all had a Pioneer receiver. One of the best. I think, however, it is limited with todays technology.

Wow you are going to need somethign that converts to a 2 wire or rca. That said there should be any number of mp3 players that dock and can convert to rca through the headphone jack :) as far as brand i cant really reccomend one right now as i use a ipod video for home and android for the car :)
