I removed these ugly red macro algae growing on the skeleton of the elegance and it has open up much more. How should I feed this? Should I turn off the powerheads and place some frozen on him or just use the turkey baster? Either way the clownfish will get some of the food.

i would first jsut try with power heads on and a baster, anything with stinging tentacles are pretty good at holding on to there food, if you see the food jsut bouncing off and not sticking then try with PH off. they should curl in there tentacles when they catch something.

i mean if its getting alot of flow were it cant curl them in against the current , then shut them off.

    what are you feeding it?

I have several elegance (all aussies) in my 300. A couple I have had for over a year now. I do not feed them at all. They are thriving and growing well for me. I imagine they get bits and pieces of flake and mysis when I feed my fish, but I never target feed them. They are under 250 watt 14K metal halide lighting.
