Emerald crab

So all along I thought these were reef safe????? Three days in a row I found this guy in one or the other corals. This am it was trapped in the birdsnest. So since it runs eveytime I turn the lights on today I caught is. its now in my refugium. Has anyone else had a rouge emerald?

 

My emerald will crawl all over my corals but has never actually hurt anything.

 

All my crabs like out hang out in my corals. They don't hurt anything though.

 

I did not see that it was harming anything but I was nervous that it was in and around them daily. If this is common for them I will send him back into the tanks to keep up his job.

 

Yup, mine crawls on them, but has never hurt them in anyway.
