I will soon have these in a 75 gallon maine tank:
    *3 skunk cleaner shrimp
    *1 Sexy shrimp
    *1 Randalls pistol shrimp
*1 flaming prawn goby to pair with the pistol
    *1 blue spotted jawfish
*1 pair of B&W ocellaris clownfish
What are some characteristics of the emporer shrimp? Could I get one as a beginner? Would it get along with my fish/shrimp

I happened upon a small bit of info while reading through some backlogs of reef keeping.

I know it's not much, but it's more than anyone's had to offer so far.

Dang, I wouldn't want to chance it with livestock like that. Please think about the decorator crab some more. Watch the relationship that forms with your pistol shrimp and your goby for a while. If those clowns host, they will grab food and bring it back to the anemone to feed it. It's really cool to see symbiotic behaviors in your mini ecosystem. It sounds like there will already be plenty of awesome stuff to watch.

I've been working on an ID page for the Caridean shrimp and thought that it might be of use, or future use for those interested in such shrimp. The species you mentioned is a very common find here in the Philippines and is most often seen on the larger starfish, most often the "choc. chip" starfish. Such commensals are very fascinating to me, you can pretty much pick any organism, be it a sponge, scallop, tunicate or whatever and there is sure to be a shrimp species that specializes in living with or within specific hosts.
