Could I get one (check sig, sorry still filling it out)
Are they easy to care for? I wanted an eel, but they are not reef safe, so I wanted a false eel. Thanks for any info!

engineer goby are very peacefull. I also have kept snowflake eels with reef tanks. will not harm any corals. when they get big when there a problem. just because they will knock corals over swimming around.

i have an engineer goby right now and he is totally chill. He is kind of reclusive and buries in the sand ALOT! As long as your rock work is pretty stable and you added your sand after placing your live rock on the very bottom of the tank, your all good! really good sand sifter and yah i thought he was an eel to when i first saw him! Make sure he gets feed! I have to really try to make the food pellets reach him through my clownfish. Seems to really like rods food and photoplankton and mysis!

Yeah, they're reef safe.. They grow really fast. Mine grew from 2" to 8-9 in about 6-7 months.

I have to get under my tank and look at the bottom to see mine...to make sure hes alive.

He comes out at night though. I was down there in the middle of the night and he was swimmin around... He can move alot of sand in a night!
