But the calcium seems good...what do I do add Ca? or get Mg up and see what happens?

Get Mg up, then Ca, I would say. It helps keep more Ca and Alk in the water.

raise your mag 100pm today and 100pm tomorrow per my instructions. if your total water volume is close to 150g. once your mag is at 1300. raise your calcium to 450-475. as this will help lower your dkh as its way to high. I would only dose a calcium booster only when raising it. like kent calcium or something close. you have high dkh like I have had in the past, so dont us anything that raises alk/dkh for now. ideal is probly 10dkh right in the middle of the range.

I started to raise the Mg last night with my first 2 gallon mixture. I will test today and add more if needed.

What should I use to raise the calcium? I have both the Kent Liquid calcium and the Tech CB Part A & B.

Will the Tech CB Parts A&B help get my Kh back where it should be?

use kent liquid calcium for now just to make sure it only raising calcium, but make sure your mag is 1300+ first. after testing later today it should be around 1200. if so do an identical dose like yestreday, tonite. then the following day get calcium 475+, and I hope this will help drop down your dkh 12-13 range. once thats done. dont add anything to your water for 1 week min. except fresh top-off water for evap. then test after that to see if parms are stable and what has dropped and how much. and report back with every test for us. this will determine what your weekly usage of dosing will probly be from now on as long as you dont start adding a bunch more corals etc.. whats kind of corals are in your tank?

well with only a frogspawn, you shouldnt have to dose (may once a month) once you get your parms in check and stable. and if you do a 10-20% monthly water change with good salt, probly wont have to dose at all. just fyi..

sps, other stoneys, and coralline will use calcium more so than anything else. alk and mag too.

As long as you were to do regular water changes with freshly made SW, you might not need to dose mg at all. Once you get more stony corals and coralline you will need to supplement mg. If the mg isn't high enough, the calcium and alk will be hard to balance.
