    I see you don't have a airline control valve. Reef Dynamics are now the makers of the old euro reef skimmers.

    I would run the pump in vingar and water, that should clean out the calcuim build up

    I cleaned the skimmer out really good with hot water. I cleaned the air line, the pump (inside and out), and everything i could get my hands on. And from what i saw the parts weren't even dirty. I didn't see any calcium build up or anything obvious that would stop it from working properly. I have a Sedra 3500 would that be a reason why the lack in performance? I'll give it another month or so and see if it breaks in?
