or anyone else that wants to take a stab...
I just picked it up today, its clearly a flasher wrasse (Paracheilinus) but i have no clue on the species; looking for an answer.

distinguishing characteristics: split/forked tail fin, faint vertical blue stripes, under pure actinics it looks like it fluorescences green (well obviously it doesnt "glow" but it turns bright green... verrry weird i know) approx 3"

actually i would believe it... mine has a bit more blue than most of those in the pictures but it could just be because it hasnt lost its colors like they do in captivity.

It was the closest I could find to the color scheme and markings minus the blue.

Yeah a better pic would be better. Hes totally stressed in that picture and flashing all kinds of colors. Like aquariaman said, a swimming picture would be great.

ill grab one tomorrow afternoon. he was swimming all over the place about 10 min after i took this so he is doing great!
I literally picked him out of the bag with my hand, placed him down there, grabbed the camera, and then snapped that shot. surprisingly though he never went into hiding then :)
