excess bubbles

    I have a boyu 1516 protein skimmer and am having trouble with lots of excess bubbles being put back into the tank,any ideas as i can see much in my tank except bubbles.:-/

    Is this a HOB model?

    Does it have any dispering agents like fibers, sponges etc.?

    i will try and get a pic when i finish work,no there is no dispersing agents,just straight from the bubble cylinder and back into the tank,I have tried less bubbles and less flow but doesnt seem to matter.:cry:

    How long has it been running?Most skimmers have a break in period where they will dump micro bubbles.:confused:
