F My Life

So what a week of weeks and a day of days.. Last week i bought a coralife UV 9 w sterilizer for my tank from one of my friends.. he sold it to me for 50.. take it home and bam the light is burnt out..

Ebay a light $12 for 2 UV lights sweet deal.. done bought.

Today the light arrives.. i go to put it in.. and take the thing apart, put the new bulb into the socket and set the thing down cause I cant find the gasket.. Start looking on the floor for it and bumb the table.. Whole UV light falls to the floor and cracks the glass sleeve that the water runs around.

Best of all upon my anger for the situation i noticed the gasket was still in the unit itself.

This light hates me. FML

 

I feel closer already....

 

that sucks man, i was sure you were gonna say the bulb wasnt the right type, so i was alil suprised when you said you broke the sleeve lol

 

that sux.

 

I'll tell ya what....you buy me an engine for my car(that blew up yesterday) and I'll buy you a new UV.......it ain't that bad dude!

 

I have been stressing over this stupid light all day and I have finals tomorrow. Fish tanks piss me off lol.

 

Well atleast you did not get 180 Gals of water on the floor It can always be worse.

 

That sucks man.

I had a hose pop off a hose barb and pump around 10 gallons of water onto my floor from the sump.

I just went and signed up....I've gotta add more, they cut me off too much misery for them I guess.
