Do you have a good picture? The video doesn't seem to be in focus long enough to really get a good look.

there are so many fairy wrasses, and just wrasses in general , its tough to tell. at 1st thought it could be an exquisite fairy, or possibly a whipfin. but not that sure. pure guesses. lol

I got this blurry one of the head. I'll get better ones later when the room is dark.

I just googled that. the body is a uniform red for the top half not with stripes and the bottom half is pale yellow.

I don't think it's the exquisite, very possibly the whip-fin though.

    K+ for all the effort

I got some better pictures. Wrasse photography is hard work.

I've been looking at a lot of pictures and i really think it's a whip tail now, but maybe a female because the dorsal fin is a bit shorter and there is no blue on the tail. i did see a picture labelled as a whip tail that looked like an exact match though. If this is the case will she change to a male?

If it's a female, it will change to male, but only if there are other wrasses in the tank (but not necessarily the same species). However, I don't think this is a whip fin. I know what it is, just have to find/remember it. It's something like "Tanzuki". Give me a little bit, I'll find it.
