    No. They get fed mysis. Tang gets broccoli and frozen seaweed/algae mix. Havent ever fed pellets or flake

    Darn it! ;)
    Its really bugging me now. Im past the worried stage (they are as happy as can be). Its the first time I've really not been able to figure out whats going on with my creatures.
    What does the pellet do am?

    Pellets swell once they get wet so if a fish eats them before they're fully saturated, they can bloat. I don't like feeding pellets for that reason.

    Okay, I believed I have solved the mystery!
    Went out to the tank to do some late-night recon. Came out into the living room at about 2:30 am, flipped on the light, and holy heck, pods. I have always had some pods, but not like this. Like pod infestation. Swarm of pods. Replace crows with pods in that hithcock flick and thats my tank. The clowns were having just the greatest time swimming around catching as many as they could.
    This morning when I woke up, they are both happily chubby as could be.
