Junk and a waste of money all you'll be doing is growing more bacteria then they system demands and that won't help with anything but oxygen depletion and separating you from your money.. Ground up bakers yeast is all it is most likley

Less feeding will also help with nitrates :) see what that does is feed a bacterial explosion the system can not sustain on its on stop feeding it and boom the bacteria dies and sucks out all the oxygen and kills all the fish and makes the water milky looking . It may be O.K for a Home septic tank :) But I'd never add it to my fish tank

Fauna Marin system is very good in the right application.

If you are keeping mostly SPS this system will help keep your system nutrient poor by binding ammonias and by passing the nitrogen cycle as well as will also bind phosphates.

You do however need a reactor, ultralith material and the cultures to start.

then need to feed your colonies after that. After 2-3 weeks colors on SPS and tissues really improve.

Not necessary in FOWLR and Mixed LPS and softy tanks

The only place that I feel that its required is if you are using a ZeoVit system or your using the pappone method.

I've got a sample of this product and I am not sure what it is. I dont know if its actually bacteria or if its just a carbon fuel. I know that with the paapone method that I use we dose sugar as a carbon fuel source for bacteria.

If indeed this is a bac culture then once you start it you must commit to providing fuel in the shape of carbon to maintain it in a stable setting. That ultralith reactor would work for that. Really when you get into these types of systems it almost becomes a way of life for tank keeping. If theres any doubt that you can keep up with it never start. I know that when I did the Prodibio project that I started over at RC, I experianced a tank crash when I discontinued use of all the steps of that. I believe that the Fauna stuff is similar. Its a multi product system in the shape of either Prodibio or ZeoVit.

UltraBak is the food source for UltraBio. The UltraBak is just part of the UltraLith System by Fauna Marin and is not "junk"

If you would like more info, please contact us at customerservice@darklordcoral.com and we can provide you with more information.

    Thanks
    Mike

More bacteria means cleaner tank provided it is the correct bacteria.

Here is a link to help you understand

These products work well if you understand what you are doing. bit like driving a car or keeping a quality reef tank.:)
