    Snails are hard to ID. Most ids are from shells, thats where I always start my snail ID search. I'm fimiliar with most, but not these. Apperently people use them in place of nassarius snails, so maybe thats where the confusion arouse. This trade butchers names and ID's at a wholesale level. Corals can have 10 different names and many in common with others. I wish all animals were called by their scientigic names, then we'd have very little confusion. Of course the exporters would have to read up and start actually id'ing things correctly in the first place.

    i have 3 Nassaurius snails and I never see mine in the sand mine are always on the glass.

    HL14 mine are submerged in the sand 99% of he time during daylight. They cruise the sand under cover of darness. Are you sure you have Nassaurius snails? Just checkin?
