    I have only three turbos and about 15 nassarius in my 75. My main algae controller is my tang.

    i have like 5 turbos and 50 nassarius in my 55 gal.

    It takes a combo of things all rolled into one to stop algae.

    I agree, in my experience, each snail species has a preference in algal munchies. So I mix, turbos, Marginella pruniosum, cerith, speckeled cerith, and checkered nerites.

    I also find my many spaghetti worms and my hermit crabs go to town on the buffet of food debris and algae in the tank.
