IMO, its hard to just pick one, they all come together to make a great eco-system. Luna

my favorite thing I had was a good ole' cleaner shrimp...stick your hand in the tank and he would come and clean you right up. I would try to feed krill to some of my corals and that thing was a cannibal...would grab it from the corals and take it to his station and eat it himself..no matter how many pieces I gave him. I no longer have him and have not got a new one yet. I have not really ruled out a lion yet!

I really dig the "typical" fish...my lawnmower blenny and my bicolor blenny (though he is not the original one and not as cool as the original! The personalities of those 2 fish just crack me up. The lawnmower will sit there and just look at me when I get up close to the tank and follow me where ever I go. I have a pug..something about the "so ugly it is cute" thing that attracts me. My original bicolor would have all these holes in the rocks and if a crab or snail would get anywhere close to it, he would come flying out of nowhere, and somehow the next thing you would see is this shell go flying across the tank. Then Benny the Blenny would sit there, perched on his rock, with his chest puffed up so proud of himself, until the next crab go near one of his other holes. Poor thing, his work was never done! I have not seen this one do it yet as he is still a baby, but he is getting himself into the tiniest holes and peeks his head out like look at me.

Mine would have to be my G. Mandarin Dragonet. I've wanted one since I first got into the hobby. Very tough question though eagle.

We now have the following fish:

Queen Grandma---Royal Gramma (chosen by Bailey) Definitely rules the tank!!!
    Joker---Rainford Goby (chosen by me)
Darth Nemo---Saddleback Clown (chosen by Robert)
Bert and Ernie---Yellowface Goby paired w/ a Pistol Shrimp (chosen by Bailey)
Benny the Lawnmower Blenny (chosen by Mac)

So much for keeping a low bio-load...

Anyway, each one of them has such a unique personality it's hard to choose a favorite. If I had to chose one though, it would be Benny. He was so tiny when we got him, and I have a few pics but he blends in so well you can hardly see him. He's been in quarantine for a while and is just now in the display. Love this fish!!! When I feed, he bumps my hand for me to pet him. He'll sit on the top rock and let me stroke his sides. I absolutely adore this fish, and he looks just like a little old man (warts and all).

As for my favorite coral, I really like my candy cane. But I think eventually my favorite piece will be my leather toadstool. It's still tiny (two inches) but it's beautiful!!!

You've gotta have some karma for for those names. V funny;D

My favorite addition has to be my springeri dottyback. Greedest thing in my tank by a long way. Whenever I put some shrimp into the tank he'll bully the clowns out of the way, grab the largest piece he can find and then swim off into the rockwork to devour it in peace before coming out to do it all again.

Still love my hermits though. There is something fasinating about watching them get half way a rock, fall off and then repeatedly try again.
