I just brought home a great cluster of feather dusters and aclimated them and put them in the tank. They seem to be secreting some kind of filmy white strands (look like snot). Is this normal and what is it? The feather dusters are all out and look great otherwise.
    Thanks,
Ed (a new guy to this)

they are just getting rid of waste or they could even possibly be spawning as a result of the change in enviroment

if they drop their crowns ,then it was spawning, they do this in order they dont then comsume their own larvae etc

    nothing to worry about IMHO
