I have some soft corals and LPS in my tank, and am considering feeding them (until now I have just used light only). I have some frozen mysis shrimp. I guess I just break it up into fine pieces and use a turkey baster to pour the shrimp over the coral? How do I know when enough is enough? Does it make a difference feeding them during day vs night? Anything else I need to know? BTW, the corals are torch, bubble, acans, leathers, and mushrooms.
    THanks

The leathers and mushrooms are fine with light, the LPS will enjoy and do quite well with the addition of food. Definitely target feed them, start out at night. That is most likely when their feeding tentacles are out. The acan and bubble, esp the bubble feed at night. The torch feed during the day. You can also feed the acan during the day, it will just need to adjust to the daytime feeding schedule. If you can get ahold of them, use fish eggs, capelin roe to feed the LPS, they are small, sink and full of protein.

Thank you. I'll give that a try.
