I was wondering how often and how much you guys feed your fish. Is once every other day ok? or is everyday feeding a must? I have the following:

    1 pink skunk clown
    1 Ocellaris clown
    1 Coral Beauty Angel
    1 Yellow Tang
    1 Yellow Tail Blue Damsel
    1 Sand Sifting Goby
    1 Six Line Wrass
    1 Sebae Anemone

The Yellow Tang and the Coral Beauty nip at the algae from the rocks all day long and the Sebae Anemone gets food once a week. (1 silver)

The following I know are scavengers, but I'll still mention them, just in case

    1 Red feet conch
    3 Blue Leg Hermit Crabs
    1 Emeral Crab
    2 Sally Lightfoot crabs
    3 Nassarius Snails

Feeding is one of those issues we each have to struggle with individually.

    How much?

    How often?

    What?

Different fish have different needs in way of diet and frequency of eating habits.

Best thing to do is try different food, in different amounts and different frequency. Keep eye on nitrates and algae growth.

Eventually both you and your fish will establish a routine everyone is comfortable with.

I feed mine a food mixture twice a day. Evening and Night...corals get fed about mid day. What I find works best for my tank and mixture of critters.

No sense running a concentration camp and underfeeding nor overfeeding.

If fish are healthy and active and you are keeping low nitrates with little algae growth, you are doing right thing.

Don't forget those crabs and shrimp need to eat also! ;)

    thanks for the info Omard.....
One more question, those of you who have a sand sifting goby....I know these fishes die of starvation and so how do you guys complement their feeding....I was thinking the old fashion turkey baster and some mysis shrimp...what do you think?
