Alright so the other day I somehow was able to find a red scooter blenny so I had to purchase him. I'm not super concerned about him but I wanna make sure he is eating obviously. I know they eat copepods and I got the infamous bucket-o-pods going to replenish my supply but doea anyone have any suggestions on what else to try to feed the guy? brine shrimp? bloodworms? anything soaked in garlic? I have brine, bloodworms, arcti-pods, flakes, I'm just unsure on what to feed him cause I'm the type that I need to see him eat so I know he is doing ok.:-/

all of those might work. Now if he is a scooter, I assume he is fairly small? You might try baby brine too.
Now, I hope you are not trying to do the bucket o pods with the arcti-pods are you?

haha no I'm not trying to do the bucket-o-pods w/ arcti-pods cause I know those are dead & i have to keep those in the refrigerator. Yes he is fairly small maybe about an 1.5-2" & all I have seen him do so far was pick at the rock and I was trying to target feed him today w/ a variety of foods & he just seemed uninterested so far. I'm just worried and I dont want the poor guy to starve even tho he looks quite healthy to me....i'll post some pics for ya

You can also try flying fish roe. You can get it at international markets, they use it as a garnish on sushi. That was the first step I did in getting my mandarin to eat prepared.

so when I was trying to feed the blenny some frozen foods today I saw him pick up & spit back out the bloodworms chunks. Then later I think I saw him actually pick a smaller piece up and eat...thank god...i was hoping he would take to frozen but I'm still not completely out of the woods yet cause I would like to see him eat more than just that....I need to take packleaders idea of flying fish roe and see where i can find that but in the mean time.....Any other takers on what other frozen might be more appetizing to him other than bloodworms, brine, or arcti-pods (which oddly enough he doesnt seem to take interest in)?
