feeding tangs...

hey guys what is your best method and how many times do u think tangs should eat? other then there daily algae sheets? i was told to feed them every other day. and some others say twice a day? i am confused on this one...

 

I've got a yellow eyed pole tang. I feed it in the morning and the evening. It only eats flake for some reason and algae obviously.

 

Mine gets feed twice a day also.....

 

i feed mine twice a day.....3 if you count the daily nori. i have read that herbivores need to feed more often due to being grazers and having smaller stomachs. however, i have never looked at any of their stomachs to see if that part is true.

 

I also feed twice a day mix with pellets and brine shrimp - twice a week a piece of nori

 

I feed daily, plus nori once or twice a week.

 

My Tangs always got mysis/brine every other day, with a veggie clip with seaweed/nori everyday, they were happy & fat.

 

I feed my yellow eye (who is no longer with me) and yellow tang daily feeding nori on opposite days of when I fed them pellets/flake/shrimp/frozen cruisine.
