I got two tangs yesterday a yellow and a powder blue, tried to feed them today and they both wouldn't eat... Should I be worried? I have fish flakes for tangs, seaweed sheets, and gel stuff in a bag for herbivores. Is that food proper for these two fish?

Probably a bit early to worry Mr B
some fish will feed the moment they get out of the bag or bucket (depending on your acclimatization method)

others will take a day or 2 to settle in

if these are newly caught fish it may be that they do not recognise the things being put in as food and trying some frozen foods may help (the closer something appears to be to foods taken in the wild the easier it is to get fish to accept them)

what size tank are they in?
how long has it been set up?

I ask so that we can eliminate any possible issues related to these 2 aspects

Yellow and Powder blue tang according to 1st post
and foods tried are flakes, Nori and a herbivore gel

Mr B , tank size and maturity sound ideal to me so I believe it is just a matter of accilimizing to your set up
feed a variety of foods , one of them will trigger a feeding responce sooner or later IMO

If you are using Nori on a clip, it may be the un natural presentation that makes them wary of it at 1st (I have experienced this, with fish that eventually went on to eat from a clip)
try banding a few strips with a elastic band to a small rock, and drop it to the base of the aquarium
also try a smear of garlic extract as this is an attractor IME and may entice reluctant fish to feed

also try frozen mysis , brine or even bloodworms , I know not ideal foods for herbivores , but both the tangs mentioned will eat and enjoy those foods IME and as they more closely resemble things the tangs would have seen in the wild, there is a good chance they will eat these

do not worry, if its a couple of days
give them a chance to settle
but try a few different food stuffs until you get them eating

I do have a large amount of hair algae growth in the tank; and have noticed the powder blue and the yellow tang picking at it some.

The YT should make short work of the the hair algae, congrats! They're prob just full from that. They'll start eating soon enough.
