I have read that some corals get fed when lights are out, and I feed my trumpet like that with success, I have tried that method with my frogspawn and I don't think is really eating the food, it seems after some time it expels it, can this corals be fed or is it better to feed with lights on , any experience out there on this coral.
    Thanks

I think the Frogspawns are more photosynthetic? Mine doesn't really accept feedings like my Acan/Trumpet/Bubble/Duncan/Favites.

Occassionally it seems like he tries to grab the food, but with little success. most food is too big for the frogspawn I find. I try to feed him in the day when he is open and extended, at night mine recoils in more....

The Aforementioned Acan/Trumpet/Bubble/Duncan/Favites do the opposite, and open up after lights out...

That said, my frogspawn is doing great. Just make sure he's got enough light... bit of flow, and your parameters are in check.

All right , thanks , is been a while since I posted this so I started trying to feed during the day, but as you mentioned , frogs don't seem to take feeding to well, they may take one or two myss out of 20. I believed they are doing great under my lighting , I just got a second frog they are both in the bottom
    Thank you
